Resetting
If the 'Lockout' light is on or flashing the boiler will need resetting.
Follow the manufacturer's instructions to re-set the boiler, this is normally done by pressing the re¬set button or by turning the boiler off, waiting a few minutes then turning the boiler on again.
Water pressure low.
Most modem boilers are sealed systems. This means they are not permanently connected to the water supply. You will find an operating water pressure gauge on or near the boiler, this should read between 1 bar and 2.5bar if the pressure falls below O.5bar the boiler will become noisy or will not operate. If this occurs the boiler will need to be re- filled with water.
Filling a sealed system boiler with water.
On or near the boiler a chrome bradded filling loop will be fitted, with an black isolating valve at either end. Turn both valves on slowly filling the boiler heating system until the pressure gauge reads between 1 bar and 2bar. Turn both valves off after filling, then turn your boiler back on.

IMPORTANT
To ensure the continued efficient and safe operation of your new gas boiler, it is recommended that it is safety checked and serviced at least once every year by a specialist Corgi registered gas engineer.
It is also recommended to take advantage of any extendable warrantee offered by the manufacturer's in there information pack.
For long term corrosion protection it is essential inhibitor levels within the new boiler and heating system are fully maintained.
It is important that the boiler is serviced by the date stamped on the boiler casing and recorded in the benchmark commissioning book by a competent person.
Failure to adhere to these conditions could reduce the guaranteed period of your new gas boiler and heating system to 12 months from the date of installation and will jeopardize your second years free breakdown cover.
